While I was painting this picture I was thinking about that…the difference between simply resisting and truly enduring.
The wave arrives with force, and strikes without warning. It leaves marks, wears down, and even alters the rock. But it doesn't move it. It doesn't make it give way.
And that is resilience.
Because life hits hard, really hard… but true strength lies in persevering.
